What we do

ACTERA's principal activity is to conduct annual endurance horse rides of no less than 80 kilometres, along with shorter rides to introduce and promote the sport of endurance riding to newcomers.

This activity draws together people who may be interested in the sport, including veterinarians and others concerned with the good health and management of horses competing in endurance horse rides in the ACT and surrounding districts.

Rules of Association

ACTERA is incorporated under the Associations Incorporation Act 1991 of the Australian Capital Territory. The ACTERA financial year is 1 May to 30 April. Our Rules of Association can be viewed in Adobe Acrobat PDF format:

Annual general meetings

The association's financial year is 1 May–30 April, and annual general meetings (AGMs) are held on a date within five months following 30 April.
